(16:15-18:00): a mixed industry/research event focusing on collaboration, collaborative technologies and interoperability
in the Engineering & Construction sector.

Technical Lecture on the "Future of IT in Construction". A
view on trends and way forward on use and research on IT in the
Engineering and Construction domain. Target audience: Both research
community and industrial practitioners with interest on IT in the
Engineering and Construction domain.

Workshop on Human factors, user requirements and collaboration
models:
- Part#1: Session on "developing user requirements" (10:45-12:30).
Session focuses on the processes to elicit and structure user requirements,
and approaches to develop scenarios and use cases. Focal points:
difficulty of developing requirements for multiple user partners;
managing conflicting needs; difficulty of eliciting requirements
for complex socio-technical systems; and wording and representation
of user requirements.
- Part#2: Session on "developing models of collaboration"
(14:00-16:00). Initial review of some of the existing reference
models of collaboration and open discussion on the difficulties
of modelling collaboration and the practical importance of
models of collaboration. Followed by an interactive session with participants on assigning
weightings of importance to factors which make up a reference model
of collaboration.
To register to the 1st CoSpaces Annual Conference, please follow the registration procedures
provided on the VR@P 2007 website. Take notice of special arrangement with VR@P2007
Organising Committee for that participants will pay the price
corresponding to accompanying persons (i.e. 150€ that includes
coffee-breaks+lunches. VR@P2007 proceedings book not included). Gala
dinner is an additional 60€. To apply for such rebate, please
mention (e.g. in writing) "Participant to CoSpaces Conference" in the registration form when registering.
Industrial Workshop is free-of-charge! However due
to limit of the number of participants, e-mail registration is
